Shelley Anderson began exploring photography in high school. She studied photojournalism at the University of Missouri - Columbia’s Journalism School where she learned the ins and outs of storytelling.

Shortly after college, Shelley fell into weddings and has focused on them ever since. After 15 years Shelley still loves wedding photography and remains passionate about capturing love stories.

In 2007 she founded Cage and Aquarium with her husband, Tyler Huffman (DJ Bothsides) as a deejay and photography company for weddings and private events. 

Originally Chicago-based, Shelley and Tyler are now living in the Bay Area. While they get Cage and Aquarium off the ground here, we are happy to offer them as a husband and wife DJ and photography team!

I almost wanted to skip my bouquet toss because I didn’t want to break the great vibe on the dance floor :)
