Ross is a jazz guitarist in the SF Bay Area who currently performs with Panique Trio, Barrio Manouche, The Hot Club of San Francisco, and The Jimmy Grant Ensemble which will be preforming at the US's biggest gypsy jazz festival this fall, Djangofest Northwest. In addition to these groups, Ross runs his own Gypsy Jazz group Yacht Club of Paris. 

In his early 20's Ross discovered the music of Django Reinhardt and fell in love with Django's music. His music blends Django Reinhardt's repertoire as well as his original music with elements of the classical tradition and the vocabulary of modern jazz to create something that seems both new and exciting, all the while adhering to the magic of Django's music.
