Canadian-Californian songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Madeline Tasquin is a well-rounded performer, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist who has extensive experience touring locally, regionally and internationally both as a solo artist and bandleader. Born in Quesnel, BC to an opera singer mother and a goldminer father, and after completing a degree in Architecture in Sydney, Australia, she relocated in 2006 to Berkeley, California and returned to her musical roots. Since then she has collaborated or recorded with an impressive list of acts including Tea Leaf Green, Fantastic Negrito, Panic is Perfect, Beats Antique and Whiskerman, and internationally with Les Gars d'en Bas in France and Furia in Belgium.

Singing in both French and English, Madeline has a personable presence that shines both on and off stage and the musicality and professionalism to match, earning her nothing but 5-star reviews from previous clients for her private work performing at wedding proposals and receptions, house concerts, and corporate events throughout the Bay Area.

Madeline specializes in French music (from Edith Piaf to Serge Gainsbourg, Pink Martini to Charles Aznavour), accompanying herself on jazz guitar and ukulele. She also also loves adding her unique flavor to covers of Radiohead, The Beatles, Björk, Joni Mitchell, Leonard Cohen, Billie Holiday, Sam Cooke and a large repertoire of artists reflecting her diverse influences. In 2017 she entertained guests for 6 weeks at a 5-star resort in The Maldives with a mixed repertoire of jazz, French, foreign language, pop and original material accompanied by guitarist Dusty Brough.
